About the CPD course

This chronic pain awareness course equips participants with the tools to understand; manage; and support colleagues experiencing chronic pain. The course explores the types of chronic pain; its emotional and physical impact; and effective communication strategies for fostering an inclusive workplace. Through interactive activities; real-life case studies; and practical exercises; learners will develop empathy and gain insight into supporting individuals with chronic pain. The training also covers workplace accommodations; legal frameworks; and support systems to create a healthier; more accessible environment for everyone.

SOS Silence of Suicide

We are a small charity providing support for anyone struggling with poor mental health, suicidal ideation or bereavement by suicide SOS offers a freefone support line 7 evenings a week between 8pm and midnight. Our volunteers are all extensively trained, compassionate and hold enhanced DBS certificates. Our highly regarded group face to face meetings in safe, confidential spaces. These are free to the public, although we have also hosted meetings for businesses, other charities, retailers, sporting bodies, universities, schools, and government departments.
