About the CPD course

To provide education on neurogenic skin and; more specifically; to raise awareness of the causes; management and treatment of pressure ulcers for patients/clients with spinal cord injury (SCI). Also examines the wider impact and effects; both on SCI people and their friends and families and on the NHS/healthcare provider. There is also information on the areas of support the Spinal Injuries AssociationÂ’s Support Network Service provides. This session is delivered virtually by members of the SCI Nurse Specialist and Support Network Teams to Registered Nurses working with SCI patients/clients in non-specialist settings.
