Mental health: Creating a supportive workplace

This course centres around a case study involving Kay; delving into the events that unfolded around her and the subsequent impact on her life. It guides learners through the case study; highlighting its effects on Kay. The course also explores the possibility of altering the events in the case study prompting discussions on better management strategies. It covers the concept of supportive conversations; including their definition; appropriate timing and methods for conducting them. By focusing on the Kay case study the course combines theoretical understanding with practical application; fostering skills in empathy; communication and effective support.
