Developing children's wellbeing through pogo riding as an alternative physical activity in schools

About the CPD course

This course takes the activity of pogo stick riding and develops a mind-set for primary and secondary teachers to positively impact children's wellbeing through curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities. This is relevant for people responsible for; or interested in delivering physical education and physical activity in schools. Alongside techniques and practical aspects of pogo; participants will develop links between mental wellbeing; mindfulness and active engagement; thus promoting the recognition of alternative physical activity; which fosters positive communities. Participants will have the opportunity for on-going support and involvement in future events such as Guinness Book of World record attempt: July 2021 (tbc).
