Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA)
About the CPD course
DAHA recommend that all housing providers recruit; train and support a network of domestic abuse champions to help embed culture change within their organisation. Champions are integral to ensuring that domestic abuse remains high on the agenda at all levels of the organisation and can be the link with partner agencies and multiagency forums. This course is suitable for all social housing providers; regardless of being DAHA members.
The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) was established in 2014 as a partnership between Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse (STADA), Gentoo and Peabody housing associations. We are the leading specialist domestic abuse organisation offering training suitable for local authorities and social housing providers to improve their response to domestic abuse. We use our practice-based experience to work alongside partners across the housing and domestic abuse sector to influence policy and national decision making through our DAHA-led National Domestic Abuse & Housing Policy and Practice Group.
