About the CPD course
The aim of the course is to meet health and social care professionals’ and youth workers’ growing need for guidance and support to enhance their digital literacy. There is a need for them to learn how there is a negative; circular relationship between online harms and mental health; to help them strengthen a young person’s wellbeing and boost digital resilience. The course will provide an opportunity for health and social care professionals and youth workers assess their current knowledge and strengths and any gaps in their digital competence.
stem4 is a charity that promotes positive mental health in teenagers and those who support them including their families and carers, education professionals, as well as school nurses and GPs through the provision of mental health education, resilience strategies and early intervention.
This is primarily provided digitally through our innovative education programme, pioneering mental health apps, clinically-informed website and mental health conferences that contribute to helping young people and those around them flourish.
