About the CPD course

If someone is longer able to communicate in the way that they used to; they may not have normal ways of expressing stress or distress. The aim of this training is to raise your understanding of Stress and Distress and to recognise the role of communication in distressing behaviour. The information in this course applies to those with dementia and other people as well; such as those with learning disabilities; autism; those affected by drugs and alcohol misuse; stroke or head injury survivors and others who may struggle to express themselves in conventional ways.
