About the CPD course

This online course will give you a broader purview of writing mechanics such as planning and basic storytelling and essential technical issues such as point of view and structure. You will also study childrens books such as picture books; transition books; chapter books; junior novels; and young adult fiction. You will learn about advanced fiction techniques such as dialogue and show dont tell. Apart from that; you will learn how to interview a childrens author; come with creative ideas and include storytelling in your write-ups. By the end of the course; you will have an understanding of storytelling; tips to write good write-ups; the mechanics of writing; and the types of childrens books.
