About the CPD course
This 9-hour online course equips speech-language pathologists with essential knowledge and skills to address phonological disorders. Over three days participants will explore foundational concepts; assessment techniques and evidence-based treatment approaches. Day 1 focuses on phonological development and typical versus atypical processes. Day 2 emphasizes assessment protocols including tools and differential diagnosis. Day 3 delves into practical goal-oriented interventions such as the Cycles Approach and Minimal Pair Therapy. Through interactive discussions; case studies and hands-on activities; attendees will gain the expertise to confidently assess and treat phonological disorders while incorporating culturally meaningful and family-centred practices.
