Sustainable Supply Chain

With the rising climate awareness and the global shifting towards the achievement of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals; companies need to make their supply chain sustainable. In this course; trainees will understand how to consider the environmental and social aspects in their supply chain; starting from raw materials passing through production; storage; distribution; and end-of life product management. The training course introduces the fundamentals of sustainability; and its frameworks in resources management and supply chains management. Practices towards adopting sustainable management for different types of resources are discussed. Furthermore; the concept of circular economy to achieve sustainable operations is addressed.
