About the CPD course

This course has been designed to allow practitioners to work in a culturally competent manner. It will look at the concepts of equality; diversity and inclusion and place them in the context of The Equality Act 2010 and what that means for recognising protected characteristics. The course will also look at stereotyping; labelling; prejudice and discrimination and the impact of these on children and young people. Finally; the course will look at how practitioners can work with young people in the most culturally competent way.
