About the CPD course

This course will allow practitioners to understand the basic concepts that underpin health and safety and the law that underpins their practice. It will allow them to understand their responsibilities in relation to the children that live with them as well as their families and others. It will look at an advanced understanding of risk assessment allowing carers to explore issues like risk aversion and positive risk and understanding keeping children and young people safe at the same time as giving them as normal a childhood as possible.
