The IARS International Institute
About the CPD course
This e learning course was created within the framework of Children first project and is based on the desk and field research that investigated the phenomenon of teen dating violence and school related gender-based violence. The project collected opinions and views of more than 500 adolescents between 12 and 18-year-old; as well as discussing the issues with adults living close to them (teachers; parents; key institutions) through interviews; focus group and online questionnaires in the UK; Greece; Cyprus; Lithuania and Italy. The main aim of this course is to educate teachers; educators and school administrations on how to prevent school related gender based violence and teen dating violence by undermining gender stereotypes; norms and roles that are main causes of dating violence.
