About the CPD course

This one day course for school staff who are new to the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead is delivered by experienced safeguarding leads; who have a wide range of experience. The training will cover: Key legislation and guidance; The role and responsibilities of a DSL; How to respond to concerns raised by children and adults; How to develop and maintain a strong safeguarding culture in your setting. It will also help you to understand safeguarding policy and procedures; develop your confidence and practice and support you in carrying out your role effectively.
