Emphasis is placed on practical applications; including the use of appropriate equipment for safer moving and handling. Tailored instruction on managing various loads specific to job roles within care homes is provided. The course also delves into the relevant anatomy and physiology and guides on when to seek further advice or assistance in moving and positioning individuals.
