About the CPD course
This course looks closely at the online risks that children face and detail the roles and responsibilities of the DSL; Deputy DSL; the SENCO and the whole school community when supporting children with SEND. The course will examine how children are using technology and the responsibilities that DSLs have to governors; teachers; children; parents and the wider community in ensuring that children are supported in staying safe whilst online. We will explore how DSLs can influence others using various techniques to drive safer internet messages. The course will also address the rationale and strategies for implementation of best practice to help to build and sustain online safety knowledge across the school and wider community.
