About the CPD course

Dementia is an umbrella term for a range of progressive conditions that affect the brain. Regardless of which type of dementia is diagnosed and what part of the brain is affected; each person will experience dementia in their own unique way. Our dementia awareness online course will help you to understand the different types of dementia and how it affects the individual. We also cover risk factors and other conditions which may lead to dementia. The common core principles look at the workforce and what they should know about dementia; including support and help for those with dementia.
