About the CPD course

17;000 people in the UK suffer deafness; ringing in the ears of other ear conditions caused by excessive noise at work. This course will help you to understand how the ear is affected by excessive noise and the effects. There is legislation in place to protect workers; Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Control of Noise Regulations 2005 which we cover; including Exposure Action Values (EAV) and the impact of noise reduction. We explore job roles and factors which expose workers to excessive noise and look at risk reduction strategies to lower noise levels.
