About the CPD course
This training course allows education professionals to better understand the rare genetic condition, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC), meaning they can feel more confident in offering the best support possible for people with the condition. The course consists of five modules: An overview of TSC; The brain and epilepsy; TSC-Associated Neuropsychiatric Disorders (TAND); Other common ways TSC affects people; Supporting people with TSC in education. Each module consists of video content, a handout, a quiz, and further resources.
The TSA is the only UK wide charity dedicated to supporting people affected by TSC. Our aim is to ensure that everyone affected by TSC has the care and support they need. We do this through: campaigning and raising awareness; by providing support and information to enhance the quality of life with people with TSC and our ongoing commitment to research.
