This CPD is designed to give an overview of intelligent connected buildings; and how to make the most of the dynamic possibilities. It will show what technology is available; how best to implement such technology; and what it can bring to the finished design; using the best practice design philosophy. It will also consider the options that will affect intelligent services design and how to ensure the design process is capable of assessing the technology needs for the end users in relation to a sustainable building design. Furthermore; it will show you what to allow for in a buildings technology infrastructure to be ready for future user requirements.
