Hazards around the use of abrasive wheels; methods of markings on abrasive wheels and legislative requirements. How to identify & minimise hazards; types of equipment & inspection. Noise; respiratory; H.A.V.S. & W.B.V. & PPE requirements; Accident causation & prevention; pre use machine safety; mounting of abrasive wheels on bench grinders; angle grinders; chop saws and disc cutters.
