About the CPD course
A training workshop for teachers/advisors in UK/EU schools introducing them to and guiding them through US university/college applications. The workshop covers timelines; testing; financial aid; choosing colleges; essays; and letters of recommendation. The workshop is interactive and attendees will be asked to think through some scenarios at the end and submit their own experiences for discussion. The event also includes a lunch with US university reps for further discussion. At the end of the workshop attendees will understand the broad principles of advising students who are applying to US colleges and how the process differs (substantially) from UK/EU university applications.
