About the CPD course
The course explores the role of borders in intercultural contact; considering them as both ways of separating people and of bringing them together. It contrasts national borders with less obvious; but no less significant; cultural borders occurring both between and within nation states. It also explores different types of border crossings; comparing; for example; the experiences of international students and migrant workers with those of refugees.
