Utopian Healthcare Caregiver Career Training Course

The caregiver career training is a combination of theoretical and practical training that equips participants with skills required for caring for individuals of ALL ages. The classes cover a broad range of topics such as bathing a client; positioning a client correctly; neglect and abuse; how to feed and dress a patient; proper body mechanism for lifting and transferring patients; dealing with dementia; perineal care; recognising depression amongst others. The course teaches skills for infection prevention; vital signs; care of clients with chronic conditions and care after surgery; child care; CPR and first aid course and much more.
