This activity demonstrates the performance of an Integrity (E) fire-rated vs Radiation Control (EW) fire-rated glass through a simple fire demo experiment. The Integrity (E) rated glass is a highly toughened monolithic glass whereas the Radiation Control (EW) rated glass is a unit having an intumescent interlayer between two toughened glass panes. One piece of cloth / paper is stuck on both the glass panes on the non-fire side to simulate the objects during an event of fire. Both glasses are exposed to fire on one side and the observations are recorded.
