About the CPD course

As speculation about the manufacture and use of nuclear weapons fills the daily news; countries are ramping up efforts to fight the proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs). In 2020; the Financial Action Task Force (FATF); the global anti-money laundering watchdog; advised countries to take steps to block the financing of WMDs through the global system. And in 2022; the United Kingdom passed legislation requiring all regulated entities in the UK to identify; assess and mitigate the risk of proliferation financing (PF) within their firms. This course describes what that means for firms; and what they need to know to comply.
