Foundation to Quality Improvement

Training Course West Suffolk Foundation Trust

About the CPD course

Foundation to Quality Improvement (QI) training is designed to enable participants to effectively create healthcare improvements; which are relevant; continuous; and sustainable. We teach the theory underpinning QI as well as its tools such as the three key questions of Model for Improvement; Driver Diagrams; Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles of change; Measures; and Data Interpretation. Health care practitioners as well as those working in other sectors of healthcare will be able to fully understand and analyse how to implement effective; continuous; and sustainable improvements for staff; patients; users; and the community in line with the Trust's strategic priorities.

West Suffolk Foundation Trust

West Suffolk Foundation Trust

West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (WSFT) provides hospital and community health care services to the population of west Suffolk. We are an associate teaching hospital of the University of Cambridge, serving a predominantly rural geographical area of roughly 600 square miles with a population of around 280,000. In addition to the main West Suffolk Hospital, we employ staff in a number of community-based locations across Suffolk, including Newmarket Community Hospital. Working collaboratively with community services enables us to assist with reducing pressure across the NHS system, providing the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
