The ElevateHer programme, led by Women in Travel CIC, aims to empower underserved women in the UK, particularly those from ethnic minority backgrounds, refugees, survivors of domestic abuse, and survivors of human trafficking. By providing targeted training, mentorship, and employment opportunities in the Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality (TTH) industry, the programme helps women overcome barriers such as CV gaps, language obstacles, and low confidence. The programme’s outcomes include improved employability, paid internships, and permanent job placements, all contributing to enhanced economic empowerment and social mobility for the participant.
Women in Travel CIC exists to economically empower women, particularly those from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds. We do this by connecting underserved, diverse female+ talent to employment and enterprising opportunities in the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality industries.
