Basic Life Support and Anaphylaxis UPDATE

This Basic Life Support and Anaphylaxis UPDATE training course provides participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to respond to emergency situations effectively. It covers roles and responsibilities; patient assessment using DRSABC; initiating emergency responses; including AED use; and understanding Resuscitation Council Guidelines and COVID-19 implications. The course teaches appropriate responses to choking in adults; recognising anaphylaxis symptoms; common triggers; and administering basic emergency treatment. Participants learn about auto injectors for anaphylaxis reversal and the administration of adrenaline for positive patient outcomes. This comprehensive training equips individuals to handle emergencies; from assessing patients to administering life-saving treatments.
