About the CPD course
Designed for trainee primary school teachers, this course will give you an overview of the benefits of learning outside of the classroom. You will learn about ZSL’s mission and the role of a conservation zoo and will experience education sessions that make learning outside of the classroom engaging and meaningful. You will learn how to incorporate inclusive teaching strategies outside of the classroom, how to plan a school trip and will begin to develop cross-curricular learning opportunities for your pupils. You will feel empowered and confident to experience the benefits of learning outside the classroom for your learners and yourself.
