Redstone PBS works with organisations supporting or educating adults and children. We work with people who are at risk of behaviours that challenge. We use a positive behaviour support approach to assessment and interventions. The aim of PBS is to increase functional and academic skills.   • Introduction to Positive Behaviour Support

    Redstone PBS

    This workshop is aimed at all staff within residential or supported living services for adults. It provides the introductory knowledge about positive behaviour support that everyone should have within an organisation aiming to implement PBS. The contents of the workshop cover: The foundations of PBS; The importance of values and the ethical basis of PBS; Understanding what makes someone more vulnerable to presenting with behaviours that challenge; Understanding the functions of behaviour; Understanding the person and providing the right support; The contents of this workshop are mapped onto the knowledge elements of PBS Academy competence framework for direct contact staff.

  • Intermediate Positive Behaviour Support

    The Intermediate PBS training provides a deeper level of knowledge and understanding of PBS; as well as the skills to complete a person specific assessment to identify key areas for PBS Intervention.

  • Introduction to Positive Behaviour Support for Schools

    This 1 day workshop is an introduction to school-wide PBS for staff within your organisation; It provides a solid base for the development of PBS practice in line with the PBS Competence Framework.
