Teddy Time was established in 2013 to promote the health and physical fitness of children from an early age.
The team run popular Teddy Time live classes in Dorset. Following the success of the live classes in nurseries, Teddy Time created a CPD course to educate nurseries on how to deliver physical activity play sessions.
In addition to the course, Teddy Time provide the aids to help you deliver play activity session. There is a large library of resources available to download.

Online training and resources that enable nurseries, child-minders and early years providers to earn a CPD accredited certificate in “Planning & Developing Physical Play Activities in Early Years”. The course includes 239 lessons across 5 modules, multiple-choice quiz, 200-page manual, certificate, dozens of learning aids, lesson plans, kids activity sheets, term planners, activity trackers and more.
With contributions from doctors, nursery managers, primary school headteachers, MA (SEN) experts and fitness instructors, Teddy Time have spent almost a year developing the course.
Here’s the modules you’ll be learning:
Module 1: Planning physical play activities for children aged 2 – 5
Module 2: Understanding the core knowledge needed by those who work with children and young people
Module 3: Understanding the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle to children aged 2 – 5 and their families
Module 4: Understanding the importance of exercise at such an early age
Module 5: Understand the physiology of children aged 2 – 5 in relation to leading physical play activities
