Time to Talk about Wellbeing at Work 2020 Conference
06 Feb 2020
About the event
For the third year running mental health charity Lancashire Mind are hosting a conference; on national Time to Talk Day; to bring together local employers to raise awareness about the importance of wellbeing at work. Promoting wellbeing in the workplace can help prevent stress and create positive working environments where individuals and organisations can thrive. This event will empower delegates to learn more about how to support their employee’s wellbeing; share best practice and meet an array of organisations who can support and assist the development of their workplace wellbeing offer.
Through organised actions to bring about changes in policy, behaviour and culture we will achieve our vision of mental wellbeing for all. By providing training as part of workforce and student development, we will embed the challenging of misconceptions and promote mental health from a positive standpoint. We work collaboratively within communities utilising peer support and asset based approaches to overcome barriers to mental wellbeing, impacting behaviour change and achieving self care by promoting resilience skills.
