This course provides a current overview of leading practice related to social impact assessment of Energy; Oil & Gas; Mining; Infrastructure projects that is consistent with IAIAs International Principles for Social Impact Assessment (SIA); Guidance for SIA; IFC Environmental and Social Performance Standards; Good International Industry Practice (GIIP) and the United Nations Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights.
We work with companies, financial institutions, international organisations, academic institutions, governments, and community-based organisations, to support the sustainable and responsible management of both large-scale and small-scale development projects.
From project social and human rights assessments, stakeholder engagement, and support in implementation of best practice in responsible business conduct, to training, capacity building, and coaching, we work with organisations and their people so they can understand the context where they operate, build respectful relationships, and contribute value.
