Eating Disorders: Support for the Frontline’ Virtual Conference

This virtual conference will feature presentations focusing on providing practical skills and approaches for those who work with or are providing support anyone who has been affected by eating disorders to enable them to develop new skills and insights on caring for someone. Sessions will cover; carer empowerment; the importance of self-care and strategies for coping and common co-morbidities. This conference will also feature panel discussions with those with lived experience to understand what helped them when they were suffering and what advice they would give to their parents now. This year the conference will feature breakout sessions on both days which will cover a range of topics aimed to support carers to support someone with an eating disorder. Examples include: common comorbidities; supporting a child/adult; enabling behaviours.
