How can we deal with climate change? It will take a paradigm shift to find effective solutions capable of reversing the course taken by humanity since the industrial revolution and the consequent rise in global temperatures. In many cases; the legacy of modern architecture and planning has exacerbated critical global environmental conditions. How can we make this paradigm shift a reality? We must adopt a transdisciplinary; visionary; radical approach; innovatively drawing on the wealth of knowledge we already possess. To counter the now scientific certainty of climate change; its causes and effects; we must create a network; a backbone of creativity; through which to challenge the status quo and fuel the imagination of the next generations of architects.
