About the event

Learn how to prepare: write and edit web content for online digital audiences. People read differently online than they do when they read print materials. The sessions take the form of group discussion and practical exercises overseen by an expert online writer and editor. Learn how to write with SEO in mind: understand user behaviour and begin to think of text as visual. Cover best practices for titles and subheadings: blogging and editorial planning. Learn tips to keep your writing interesting to generate compelling copy that really engages your audience. During the course: there will be a focus on adapting your written style: tone and content for various types of audiences. The course will also cover the correct use of English: tricky grammar: spelling and punctuation. There will be practical exercises on how to proofread and copy edit: to spot inconsistencies and errors. Learn how to develop your writing style to get the most out of your content for online publications and websites.
