Join us to hear the findings of a major piece of research about the teaching of reading in Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) and schools. We will explore the 12 key issues and trends emerging through the Scholastic Reading Audit and the common literacy strategies; policies and implementation plans that underpin these. We will offer guidance on how to develop effective teaching strategies and key learnings that align with the latest DfE guidance on the teaching of reading. We will also hear from Discovery Schools Trust; about their own experiences of their raising standards of literacy in primary education.
