This course is designed to give professionals working in a range of environments such as remote areas; sport and events; the confidence to be able to use a range of skills in the assessment and management of traumatic wounds. The course covers wound assessment; decision making regarding wound closure versus referral and a range of closure methods including simple suturing techniques. The course is taught by experienced instructors from both remote medicine; military and emergency nurse practitioner backgrounds.
