About the event

Local councils; social services; education; policing; and health have a duty to notify the independent Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel of all serious incidents involving children. This workshop; led by Professor Peter Sidebotham; a member of the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel; will share insights on how to prepare for different types of reviews; including multi-agency cases and partnerships reviews. Understand how reviews work; and your roles and responsibilities as a safeguarding practitioner. You will learn when to notify the independent Child Practice Review Panel; gain practical experience on how to communicate with other agencies; and when to share information.
