Navigating geopolitical risk in finance

Led by subject-matter expert Lawrence Habahbeh; participants will explore the geopolitical impacts on banking and trading books while gaining a deeper understanding of how aspects of each have been impacted by past geopolitical events. Participants will practically map the consequences of past risk exposures and model geopolitical risks using various assumptions about frequency; severity and exposure maps to learn how to effectively map for the future and build geopolitical risk management skills. The course closes with two recent geopolitical cases studies for participants to interact with real-life situations and understand how to better prepare for future geopolitical scenarios.
