Daring to be Human as a Leader – Midlands Leadership Network

We will discuss daring to be human as a leader especially when confronted with uncertainty; difficult decisions and uncomfortable conversations in today’s fast-paced world. Dr Brené Brown’s 15 year research defines vulnerability as the feelings we experience when ‘emotionally exposed; uncertain or facing risk’ – and - in today’s world; leaders are increasingly required to dig deep into courage to have difficult conversations; make complex decisions and lead others whilst feeling so uncertain brings inevitable discomfort from that vulnerability which becomes a slow but sure ‘stacking’ of stress.
