The focus of this year’s conference will be Challenges and Opportunities facing the industry today. The event; taking place online once again will be split into two sections; the morning session will cover challenges and the afternoon session will look at opportunities. You can book to attend either session or both; whichever fits best with your schedule. Morning Session – Challenges Challenges come in all shapes and sizes across the construction industry. The main challenges the association are hearing from members are; recruitment; mental health; competence; legislation and regulations. The morning session welcomes industry experts to highlight and discuss these challenges and what they mean for the industry. Afternoon session - Opportunities As an industry we must keep moving forward; and what better way to do that – than to take advantage of all the opportunities that lie ahead. Sustainable working practices will need to be the norm; as demonstrated by largescale projects – who will give us an in-depth look at being sustainable on a grand scale. The use of Artificial Intelligence is also on the increase; this session looks at ways it can be used to increase safety in the industry. The afternoon session will be a mix of case studies; breakout sessions and a panel discussion to round off the day.
