The IPG’s Autumn Conference takes place at the Shaw Theatre in London on Wednesday 20 September 2023. It is a day-long event that supports independent publishers’ professional development and knowledge. It will feature about 20 different sessions: including plenaries: practical workshops: case studies and streams tailored to different areas of publishing: plus extensive networking opportunities. Key themes will include the skills and knowledge required to adapt to new technology: including Artificial Intelligence. Other subjects include selling online: the use of data: book distribution: sustainability: diversity and the role of publishing in the wider geopolitical context.
The IPG supports around 560 members who have a combined turnover of £500m a year and who make enormous contributions to creative excellence and innovation in the UK.
We supply our members with vital information, practical advice and great ideas to help them grow and prosper. We represent their interests in the wider publishing industry. And we provide a friendly community in which independent publishers can share knowledge and experiences.
