This is a 2-day AML/CFT/CFP conference intended to bring together AML/CFT/CFP stakeholders; including policymakers and researchers to examine and identify significant gaps in the Botswana’s AML/CFT/CFP regime and highlight possible policy implications for the effective implementation of the FATF standards. The proposed conference is envisaged to provide a unique opportunity for all stakeholders to discuss current and emerging ML/TF/PF risks and their role individually and collectively in addressing the risks. The emphasis will be on the cooperation and coordination of public and non-public bodies in the fight against ML/TF/PF risks.
