The Scottish Government’s Housing Bill is the biggest opportunity to influence housing laws for some time. The event will provide the opportunity to explore what should be included in the Bill to support social landlords and tenants; as well as other upcoming opportunities to influence Scottish Government thinking.
The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) is the national representative organisation for housing organisations and co-operatives in Scotland. Together, housing associations and co-operatives provide housing for almost half a million people, that’s 1 in every 11 households across Scotland. Our sector relies on good governance, competent and professional planning and service delivery along with sound financing, both for existing and new housing developments. Our aim is for a thriving housing association and co-operative sector, providing sustainable and affordable homes. We achieve this by supporting our members across Scotland through our Public Affairs, Business Development and Corporate Service teams and providing a unified voice for our members no matter large or small.
