About the event
Approximately a third of children and young people in schools across Scotland need additional support for learning; and demand is increasing. Understand how to effectively meet the needs of pupils who require additional support for learning. With an update on the Scottish Government’s ASL Action Plan due next year; we will share practical insights into how to provide timely and tailored support in your setting; exploring key issues including: • Identifying and assessing additional support needs • Developing inclusive practices • Ensuring a smooth transition for ASN learners • Continual training and development: preparing all staff to support ASN learners
