Technology in the funds industry is no longer moving at the “glacial” pace that it once did. Senior digital and tech roles in asset management have proliferated in the last five years and the busy professionals in these positions tackle anything from the longer-standing topic of front-to-back office automation; to newer; complex issues such as AI; data; and the future of fund distribution through the invention of digital assets. And lurking in the background to this increased digitalisation and connectivity is the worrying threat of cybersecurity.
