Confused by the new MHRA guidance on bed rails and bed levers? This session explores the reasons around the updated guidance and provides case examples of why clinicians need to be prescribe carefully. The session discusses how one county has worked together to produce a health and social care integrated approach to the guidelines; with integrated policies and risk assessment.
National Back Exchange, referred to as “NBE”, is a charity whose goal is to develop, disseminate, and promote evidence-based best practice in all aspects of manual handling and back care. A multidisciplinary group for those interested in backcare and prevention of work- related musculoskeletal problems. NBE promotes exchange of information, develops and promotes common standards of training. The strength of the NBE is drawn from its multi-disciplinary membership. It is run on a voluntary basis by a National Board of Trustees elected from the membership.
