Acumed Upper limb fracture fixation – support for clinicians and their trainers.

This course will cover the use and indications of the Acumed upper limb portfolio; including; Distal radius; Elbow; Humerus and Clavicle. This comprehensive upper limb fracture fixation system has a multitude of options to address all upper limb fractures; from the very simple to the complex. The participants will be guided through basic upper limb anatomy addressed by the plating system. The prevalence of upper limb fractures in the population; then followed by a deep dive into the surgical techniques of fracture fixation using the Acumed upper limb portfolio. The delivery will be a lecture followed by a workshop in which participants get the chance to practice what they have learnt. This will be aided by Acumed staff and the Consultants from Orthopaedic department.
